After I found out I have fibroids I was adviced to have them remove. My trusted friend directed me to Mr Rathod, who is one of the best gynae Consultant. For someone like me who’s always been sceptical, the first day I met Mr Rathod in his clinic to discuss about my issues, he made sure I understand step by step of how the surgery will be done, making me feel that he knows what he’s doing which gave me confidence that I am in good hands. I had a successful surgery and I felt comfortable throughout. It wasn’t as painful as I thought it would be. Even after the surgery he’s always keeping in touch to make sure that everything is okay. This shows how much he cares about his patients. I will forever be grateful to Mr Rathod for everything he has done for me. I can’t thank him enough.

Treated at Queens hospital from first appoint to surgery Mr Rathod was brilliant, could not ask for more, explained in detail every step of the way, Mr Rathod phone one week after surgery to see how I was getting on, all I can say is that he is one caring consultant, I am so impressed and could not recommend him more.

Prior to seeing Dr Rathord I was seen by another consultant Obstetrics Gynaecologist who was recommended by the insurance company. They were unable to help me. Dr Rathod was recommended to me by some of his colleagues and I am very glad that I saw him. I was very impressed with his knowledge as well as professionalism Here a list of main points that I found important during my care: Prior to my appointment he gathered any information that was available to him by the hospital. Therefore was familiar with my case- this made me confident that that he was interested in my case and was prepared to listen to me We made a plan based on his clinical recommendations and my wishes- no one wants to have a surgery but when you have to have a surgery due to your heath needs it is nice that you are listened to and given choices He made all the effort for me to have a laparoscopic surgery to remove fibroids as that’s a faster recovery, however in my case it was safer to have open abdominal surgery After surgery he was always available when ever I had a worry or a question. I am still seeing him post surgery after care.
